EzyVyapar ("we", "our", or "us"), operated by CodeWiz Technologies, is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our GST billing software application (available on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and Linux), our website at ezyvyapar.com, and all related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
Account & Authentication Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business details such as business name, GSTIN, and address. If you sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive your Google account name and email address as provided by Google's OAuth service. If you sign in using phone number authentication, your phone number is sent to Google Firebase for OTP (one-time password) verification via SMS.
Business Data: This includes invoices, quotations, inventory/product data, customer records (name, phone number, address, GSTIN), expense records, payment history, and financial reports that you create and store using our Service.
Device Information: We collect device type, operating system, app version, browser type, and IP address for service delivery and troubleshooting purposes.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with our Service, including features used, pages visited, and time spent.
Camera Data: Our app requests camera permission solely for barcode and QR code scanning. We do not capture, store, or transmit any photographs or video. Only the scanned barcode/QR code text is extracted and used within the app.
Subscription Information: We store your subscription plan details, subscription status, and renewal dates to manage your account and provide access to the appropriate features.
We use your information to:
Provide the Service: Authenticate your identity, create and manage your account, process and generate GST-compliant invoices, manage your inventory and customer records, and enable all core billing and accounting features.
Enable Communication Features: Facilitate sharing of invoices and quotations via WhatsApp, email, and SMS through your device's native sharing capabilities. When you choose to share an invoice via WhatsApp, your customer's phone number is used to open a WhatsApp conversation on your device.
Generate Documents: Create PDF invoices, Excel/CSV data exports, and financial reports based on your business data.
Manage Multi-User Access: If you invite staff members to access your shop data, we process invitation details and manage access permissions (read-only or edit access) as configured by you.
Improve & Secure the Service: Analyze usage patterns to improve the user experience, ensure security, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and comply with legal obligations.
Cloud Storage: Your business data is stored securely using Google Firebase cloud infrastructure (Firestore and Firebase Storage) with encryption at rest and in transit. Firebase servers are operated by Google and comply with industry-standard security certifications.
Local Storage: EzyVyapar works offline. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own security measures. Sensitive credentials such as authentication tokens are stored using encrypted local storage (AES encryption) on your device.
Data Integrity: We use cryptographic signing (HMAC) to verify the integrity of subscription data and prevent tampering.
We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, encryption, and secure authentication to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or business data to third parties. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
Google Firebase: We use Google Firebase for authentication (phone OTP, email, Google Sign-In), cloud database (Firestore), and file storage. Your data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
Multi-User Access: If you invite staff or team members to your shop, they will be able to view or edit your business data based on the permissions you grant. You are responsible for managing these access permissions.
Device Sharing Features: When you choose to share invoices via WhatsApp, email, or SMS, the content is shared through your device's native share functionality. We do not have access to or control over these third-party communication platforms.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data when required by law, to comply with legal proceedings, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the public.
Service Providers: We may engage trusted service providers who assist us in operating our Service (such as cloud hosting and email delivery), subject to confidentiality agreements.
Camera: Required for barcode and QR code scanning. No images or videos are captured or stored. You can deny this permission and still use the app without scanning features.
Internet: Required for cloud sync, authentication, and real-time data backup.
Storage (on applicable devices): Required for saving exported PDFs, Excel files, and CSV files to your device.
We do not request or access your device contacts, location, microphone, call logs, SMS messages, or any other sensitive device data.
EzyVyapar allows you to send invoices and communicate with your customers via WhatsApp directly from the app. When you use this feature, the app opens WhatsApp (or WhatsApp Business) on your device using the customer's phone number. We do not access your WhatsApp account, read your WhatsApp messages, or store any WhatsApp conversation data on our servers. All WhatsApp communication happens entirely on your device through the official WhatsApp application.
You can export your business data at any time in PDF, Excel (.xlsx), and CSV formats directly from the app. These exports are generated on your device and saved locally. We believe in your right to data portability and make it easy for you to take your data with you.
You have the right to:
Access & Update: Access, review, and update your personal and business information at any time through your EzyVyapar account settings.
Export: Export your data in standard formats (PDF, Excel, CSV) from within the app.
Delete: Request complete deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@ezyvyapar.com. Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete your data from our servers within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw your consent to data processing at any time by discontinuing use of the Service and requesting account deletion.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal and business data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations (such as tax and accounting regulations under Indian law).
Our website uses essential cookies to ensure proper functioning and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.
Our Service is intended for business use and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
EzyVyapar is operated from India and is committed to complying with applicable Indian data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000. We process your personal data based on your consent, which you provide when you create an account and use our Service. You have the right to withdraw consent and request data deletion as described in Section 9 above.
For transparency, we want to clarify that EzyVyapar does not collect or access: your device location or GPS data, device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID), biometric data, contact lists, call logs, SMS messages, browsing history, photos or media files (camera is used only for barcode scanning), or any health-related data. We do not display advertisements in our app and do not share data with advertising networks.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the updated policy on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we may also notify you via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
